Just because we cannot physically see something, does this make it any less real?

Similar to the saying if a tree falls in the forest and there is nobody there to hear it, does it still make a noise?

Yes it still makes a noise however there was simply nobody there to hear it when it fell, therefore this saying in itself is designed as a giant head fuck for all intents and purposes.

When we say we are sick, it doesn’t necessarily mean we have a physical illness that is physically treatable, just because an illness may not be one that is physically present, does not make the illness any less debilitating or significant.

Mental illness is a very real, debilating and life altering illness, and should not be overlooked.

  1. Thank you for reposting this blog, at the time I wrote it well it was simply something that was going around in circles in my head, so I had the need to smack it out into the world wide web. I think that a greater understanding and awareness needs to be put into practice when it comes down to mental illness, and how it actually does effect so many people, their friends and families, how it can happen to anyone of us at any time without warning and with no reason.
